Shared Hosting Recommendations?
I've spent a lot of time figuring out who the reputable VPS sellers are, but I now find my days of shared hosting returning for a project. My only experience with shared hosting was with Hostagator when I started in 2011. I know BuyVM has a shared hosting product that I'll purchase. But who else here has something good? Resources and services etc.

Moving site from Cpanel to Cpanel - best practice - issues on first try
I have not used Cpanel for years, and I do now need to move a site from one Cpanel server to another. I'm moving the site from Hostgator, and I do only have normal Cpanel access. The site is a wordpress site.
My first try was this:
I compressed the entire public_html folder, downloaded the .zip file, uploaded the .zip file on the new Cpanel server, then extracted it.
Then I used the backup function in Cpanel to take a backup of the MySQL DB. I then used the restore function and uploaded the backup file to the new server.
The DB got a new name, and a new user (I used the old password) and I did edit wp-config with the new info.
But when I try to access to site on the new Cpanel server, it's just blank. If I replace the wp-config file with the default, I got Database connection error. And if I just create a new DB and user, and use that info in wp-config I can start the WordPress setup.
So I think my issue are with the MySQL database and a error with the backup and/or restore function. Even if I check the restored DB with phpMyAdmin it's seems like all the data are in place.
So what are I'm doing wrong? What is the best practice moving a site from Cpanel to Cpanel without WHM access?
Normally I'm using Virtalmin, there I just hit backup on the source, then restore on the target. And that's it.

Note: I purchased server from SYS : So you Start - 32G E3-1245v2 SoftRaid 2x2TB Server (France), There is to much problem like i install Cloudlinux 7 and Purchase its license but after that server is not able to login through ssh (Seems like their hardware is to much old or something). [Maybe i am wrong so just i want to be clear is i am with right company or not)

Need Help with Aruba Cloud Panel
I just bought 1 Eur Aruba Cloud VPS, Very Cheap and Very Good Performance.
I want to extend my vps, by a few months. So I Top Up 5 eur, and that's it. I have no idea How to assign that credit to my vps. Does it auto deduct or something ?
2nd Question, I see aruba cloud using vmware. Which one it has much more similarity, openvz or kvm ?
3rd Question, performance wise. Anyone know cheaper but better provider out there ? Or Arubacloud currently is the only one who can give 1GB RAM FOR 1 eur / month.
4th Question, it tooks too long for the control panel to turn off, and to boot the system. Is this some kind of vmware weakness ? because I never had this issue with openvz

Cociu/HostSolutions.ro Review?
What's the consensus on Cociu's services and HostSolutions.ro?
It always particularly struck me as a host one stop short of deadpooling with what I can only assume are unsustainable offers. As well, the host seems to be really slow to respond to tickets.
On the other hand, everyone on this forum seems to love these offers, especially since they allow torrenting and seedboxes.
