Why not use a web application firewall like modsecurity to secure SolusVM?

Hi everyone. Was wondering why you guys do not use a web application firewall like modsecurity to secure SolusVM. Modsecurity is available for nginx too now. And I believe even Cloudflare features a web application firewall.
