I noticed that Spamhaus has listed an entire /16 (65,536 IPs) of ColoCrossing's new /14 (262,144 IPs) on their spam blocklist, in addition to some other small ranges also listed.
Their allegation is that "Based on research, analysis of network records, our own intelligence sources and our experience, Spamhaus believes that this IP address range is being used or is about to be used for the purpose of high volume spam emission."
That's a pretty serious statement to make and Spamhaus is one of the more respected anti-spam organisations. Does the ColoCrossing network have a spam problem? Do they need more staff to handle the volume of abuse emails such a large network is bound to generate?
