Looking For a Script That Can Do The Following:

ping an ip may be every minute if no response after 5 retrys
Do the following: transfer a text file from folder B to folder A

Keep pinging the same ip, if ip now responses 5 times in a row, transfer a
text file from folder C to folder A.

script can be for ubuntu 12.04/13.04 or windows, linux would be better - thanks
